Can I travel on the same day as my delivery?

We do not recommend making travel arrangements for the same day as your delivery.

• You are unable to predict any unforeseen delays on your end (i.e. delayed or cancelled flights, inclement weather, or traffic jams if driving) that may cause the delivery attempt to be missed and need to be rescheduled.
• You are responsible for any costs of changing flight plans or sleeping accommodations caused as a result of the above.
• Our recommendation is to make sleeping arrangements to stay with a friend or overnight in a hotel. 
• If you must travel on the day of your delivery, have a friend designated as your proxy to accept your delivery. You can set this up in your Storage Scholars account.

NOTE: Please ensure we have an updated contact number for your proxy.  He/she must answer calls/texts and be available at your pickup location during your pickup window. 

We offer a limited number of priority deliveries at the beginning and end of each pickup window. A fee of $200 will be added to your bill for priority delivery. You can schedule a priority delivery by logging into your Storage Scholars account. 

Key Access Schools:

Remember, you do not need to meet your movers at your door if you live on campus at a Key Access School. Your belongings will be waiting in your dorm when you arrive on campus. Your things will be delivered before residence halls open for the semester.
