How should I pack my lamps for storage?

It is highly recommended that you use plenty of cushioning when packing fragile items such as glass. 

• Remove all bulbs and wrap with bubble wrap. 
• Wrap both the lampshade and the base of the lamp with bubble wrap as well. Place the individual pieces in your box ensuring there are no open gaps that will allow them to shift inside. Shade on top.
• Do not pack heavy, bulky items in the same box as a lamp. Best to fill all spaces with loose clothing. 

If your lamp is too large to fit in a box, please remove the lightbulb, wrap in bubble wrap, and pack it in a box. A lamp that is too large for a box will be billed as an out-of-box item by the cubic foot.
